Town Centre Manager of the Year
David Wyles (left), town centre manager for Huddersfield Town Centre Association, received his SCEPTRE Town Centre Manager of the Year trophy from Steve Boyden, managing director of Securiplan Retail. Wyles, who became TCM in 1999, has been at the forefront of a resurgence in the town. Membership of HTCA rose by 14 per cent, and its success saw it achieve sponsorship status from Kirklees council with a 2:1 private/public ratio budget funding.
