Customer Services team of the year

What is the Award?

The SCEPTRE Customer Services Team of the Year Award recognises best practice by a customer-facing team employed in a shopping centre. This could, for example, be an entire centre management team, a customer service team, a security team or a cleaning team. The emphasis is on teamwork and entries for individuals will not be considered. In no more than 300 words, please state on your entry why you believe you should receive the SCEPTRE Customer Services Team of the Year Award. The more information the better, but please do not exceed the word limit. The judges will make their decision using the following criteria, so please use these as a guideline in making your submission.

Judging Criteria

  • Contribution of the team in engendering customer loyalty. Please include examples. Supporting data such as footfall, dwell time and the incidence of repeat visits, plus testimonials from customers, will be considered by the judges.
  • Contribution to health & safety, first aid, customer service, evacuation procedures etc and the team’s development in these areas. The judges may ask for evidence of these successes.
  • Contribution of the team to the overall financial performance of the centre in terms of giftcard sales, events organised etc. You can quote either raw data or benchmarked figures.
