What is the Award?

The SCEPTRE Manager of the Year – Small Destination recognises best practice by a manager employed in a retail destination, retail park, leisure park or outlet mall of up to 200,000 sq ft.

Judging Criteria

Initiatives to influence an increase post-lockdown footfall, dwell time, customer spend, new lettings, reductions in service charge.

Positive feedback from customers, occupiers and the local community.

Success in maintaining/managing/improving relationships with tenants/key stakeholders.

Frequency of meaningful visits to tenants’ premises.

Extent of social impact and involvement with the local community g. number of people impacted in a positive way.

Sustainability and ESG initiatives – setting operational standards that are socially conscious and create sustainability
